As a young girl, I loved throwing and hosting parties and begged my family to let me plan events for them every chance I got! As a teenager, I threw herself "My Super Sweet 16" style birthday parties and even coordinated my parents' wedding when they (finally!) got married when I was 19.
While in nursing school, I started to plan weddings, baby showers, birthday parties and corporate events for the people in my life. I continued to plan parties and events long after completing nursing school and beginning my career as a nurse, because it was something I was genuinely passionate about (and good at!).
I'm a firm believer of "if you're going to do something, do it right" and - after receiving countless requests from guests of the events I'd planned - I decided to get educated and certified in the Event Planning industry. It was in 2016, after working as a nurse since 2010, that I decided to pursue a career in Wedding and Event Planning and I officially launched Weddings by Regina Marie in Charlotte, NC in January 2017!
Since launching in 2017, I've relocated back home to Connecticut, and have expanded into Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island.

Owner, Wedding Planner & Travel Specialist
Regina is the owner of Weddings by Regina Marie and serves as the lead Wedding Planner. Having coordinated parties and weddings for friends and family for years, Regina decided to launch Weddings by Regina Marie in January 2017 to expand her client base and take her passion for event planning to the next level.
Regina is a graduate of the Institute of Wedding and Event Design (IWED), the QC Career School for Wedding and Event Planners, and the Association of Bridal Consultant's Wedding Planner Certificate Program, via Penn Foster.
Regina is a mom of two children and two furbabies - nine year old Aiden, two year old Arya, one year old Pit-mix Athena and one year old Great Dane Khaleesi. She has been a nurse since 2010 and continues to work per diem in the field to maintain her nursing skills while expanding her Event Planning business.
Apart from her family and career, Regina is passionate about traveling, all things Disney, Harry Potter and Game of Thrones (hence naming her daughter Arya and dog Khaleesi).
Regina currently lives in Waterbury, CT.
Wedding Planning Assistant
Elizabeth was welcomed into the Weddings by Regina Marie family, having over 15 years of experience in the customer service industry. We immediately noticed her excellent sense of professionalism and integrity, her client service and organizational skill set, and attention to detail, making her a strong member of the team.
Elizabeth's passion for event planning allows her to be creative and understand any wedding planning ideas you may have in mind. Elizabeth received her Bachelor’s from the University of Connecticut, and will be finishing up her Masters’ in Project Management at the University of Saint Joseph this Fall.
Elizabeth joined the team as Regina's assistant in January 2018. Although "Liz" was clearly qualified for the position, it was her shared love of Disney, animals and event planning that secured her spot on the team!
Elizabeth currently lives in Newington, CT with her dog, Abby.
